SPIRITUAL WARFARE

For my Friends, who feel the Enemy at the gates and seek to gather strength. For my Friends, the Saints of Heaven and the Followers of the Lamb, whose prayers the angels rely upon for strength to do battle with the Legion. And, for my Friends, who feel displaced, unsure of where to gather strength because they feel the battle itself has come to their own sanctuary:

It seems that, at the moment, there are many who feel down right now. Of course, there are many of David's psalms we can turn to, but today Psalm 42 spoke to my heart and soul. This Psalm stands alone, and doesn't need much explanation. Trust in the Lord... be not afraid! Place your hopes in the Lord, and allow Him to minister to your soul! Amen.

As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, O God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?

My tears have been my food
day and night,
while men say to me all day long,
"Where is your God?"

These things I remember
as I pour out my soul:
how I used to go with the multitude,
leading the procession to the house of God,
with shouts of joy and thanksgiving
among the festive throng.

Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.
My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I will remember you
from the land of the Jordan,
the heights of Hermon - from Mount Mizar.

Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me.

By day the LORD directs his love,
at night his song is with me;
a prayer to the God of my life.

I say to God my Rock,
"Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I go about mourning,
oppressed by the enemy?"

My bones suffer mortal agony
as my foes taunt me,
saying to me all day long,
"Where is your God?"

Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.

Oh, may my soul commune with thee
And find thy holy peace; From worldly care and pain of fear, Please bring me sweet release.
Oh, may my soul commune with thee
And find thy holy peace.
Oh, bless me when I worship thee
To keep my heart in tune, That I
may hear thy still, small voice, And, Lord, with thee commune.
Enfold me in thy quiet hour And gently guide my mind To seek thy will, to know thy ways, And thy sweet Spirit find. Lord, grant me thy abiding love And make my turmoil cease. Oh, may my soul commune with thee And find thy holy peace. BiddyBabyKelly

Why are you and others feeling down? Real Spiritual warfare is serious that goes beyond this world..I pray for your serenity and hope the Devil goes away swiftly without harming you or anyone around you. May the Holy Spirit guide you and may Our Lord Jesus Christ protect you!
